Congratulations, You are cordially invited to the inaugural Groutfit Gala, a New Years Eve fashion expo and pageant combining the comfort of a snuggie with the class and sophistication of the Met Gala. While some enjoy celebrating their New Years by dressing up and going out on the town, others prefer a cozy night in to reflect with people they are closest to. The Groutfit Gala is the best of both worlds. Get comfy with the people you love but dapper enough to stunt on a live internet audience. The Groutfit Gala implores participants to #ShowOutDontGoOut

Entering The Pageant

The Groutfit Gala is centered around a pageant consisting of three rounds. Outfit showcase, Talent Performance, and Q and A, costume changes are welcome and encouraged between rounds. We are looking for contestants to compete for a $500 grand prize and the title Queen/King of Comfort. To be considered for the running:

Create an instagram post highlighting one of your comfiest looks
Put what city you’re representing and why you think deserve the title of Queen/King of Comfort (If nominating someone else tag them in the post)
Add the Hashtag #GroutfitGalaEntry so we can find your post
